- I downloaded
Acrobat Reader but can't get the individual years of the ephemeris
to open.
Make sure that you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader, not just downloaded it. Normally, this has to be done without the browser running.
You can download the Ephemeris PDF files and save them on your computer, then open them directly with Acrobat Reader outside the browser.
If that works, your problem is the cooperation between your browser and Adobe Acrobat reader. Microsoft or Adobe will be happy to help you with that. - The charts
I want to print are too large for the paper. What can I
do?

The PDF data sheets come out with black blotches. What has happened?
Please find your answer here. The answer to question 4 just below may also help you. You can try to install the Astrodienst font directly on your computer.

Which font is used for the astrological glyphs in Astrodienst's PDFs?
If a PDF with astrological glyphs is converted to another format, like Word or Excel, with an external tool, you may find that the glyphs do not show correctly in the converted document.
It is possible that Sun appears as A, Moon as B, etc. The signs appear as lower case letters as a, etc.
This is because most likely our proprietary Astrodienst glyph font, which is embedded in the PDF, is not converted and therefore not available for Word or Excel.
This font is called adienst1 and can be downloaded - for private use - from the Astrodienst website as a TTF font here: https://www.astro.com/h/adienst1-webfont.ttf
How you activate such a downloaded TTF font on your computer depends on your system.
